Booking Conditions

Paper Falcon Travel

Thank you for visiting www.paperfalcon.travel. This website is owned and operated by Paper Falcon Travel (“Paper Falcon”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

When you make a booking for a Paper Falcon travel experience, your contract is with Paper Falcon Travel, acting as the organiser of bespoke travel experiences. These Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with us and should be read carefully, as they are legally binding.

Where applicable, your booking may be subject to local or international package travel regulations that apply to travel services sold as a package.

CONTRACT

All Paper Falcon journeys are bespoke and tailored to your individual requirements. Bookings are subject to availability.

Before a booking is confirmed, you will receive a detailed itinerary and proposal for your review. Once you confirm that you are happy to proceed, we will request payment and issue a booking confirmation.

Please ensure that all personal details (including names as per passport, dates, and travel arrangements) are correct at the time of confirmation. You are responsible for notifying us promptly of any discrepancies. Failure to do so may result in additional costs for amendments.

A binding contract is formed only once we have issued a booking confirmation and received the required deposit or full payment in cleared funds. The person making the booking confirms they have the authority to bind all members of the party to these Booking Conditions.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices quoted are indicative and may change prior to confirmation. Final pricing will be confirmed before payment is taken.

Prices include applicable taxes and known fees at the time of booking. Any costs that cannot be reasonably calculated in advance will be communicated to you prior to confirmation.

A deposit is required to secure all bookings. The deposit amount varies depending on the nature of the journey and services included and will be confirmed before booking. The balance is typically due 12 weeks prior to departure, unless otherwise stated.

If a booking is made within 12 weeks of departure, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Payments must be made in the currency stated on the invoice. Any bank or transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

INSURANCE

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Paper Falcon journeys. Your insurance must cover, at minimum, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.

Paper Falcon accepts no liability for losses or costs arising from insufficient or inappropriate insurance cover.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

It is your responsibility to ensure that all passports, visas, permits, and health requirements are met for your destination(s). Passport validity requirements typically extend at least 6 months beyond your return date.

We cannot be held liable for refusal of entry, boarding denial, or travel disruption resulting from incorrect or incomplete documentation.

Any medical conditions, reduced mobility, or special requirements must be disclosed prior to booking so we can assess suitability and make appropriate arrangements.

AMENDMENTS, TRANSFERS & CANCELLATION BY YOU

All amendment or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Amendments

We will endeavour to accommodate changes where possible. An administration fee may apply, in addition to any supplier charges incurred.

Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another person who meets all travel requirements, subject to written notice and applicable fees. Airline tickets and certain services may be non-transferable.

Cancellation

Cancellation charges depend on the timing of cancellation and services booked. Charges may range from loss of deposit to 100% of the booking value, particularly close to departure.

Full cancellation terms will be confirmed upon request prior to booking.

AMENDMENTS OR CANCELLATION BY US

In rare cases, we may need to make changes to your journey due to operational, safety, or external circumstances.

If a significant change is required, you will be offered:

  • Acceptance of the change

  • An alternative journey (where available)

  • A refund, where applicable

Paper Falcon will not be liable for cancellation caused by Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, extreme weather, or force majeure events.

PERFORMANCE & ASSISTANCE

We are responsible for arranging the travel services included in your booking and will use reasonable care in selecting our suppliers.

If you experience an issue during your journey, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible so we can assist.

Regardless of liability, we will provide reasonable assistance if you encounter difficulty during your travels.

LIABILITY

Paper Falcon’s liability is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions and regulations. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of enjoyment, or business-related losses.

Local standards may apply when assessing service performance in certain destinations.

COMPLAINTS

Any issues should be raised immediately during your journey. If unresolved, written complaints must be submitted within 28 days of return, including your booking reference.

Failure to follow this process may affect your ability to pursue a claim.

DATA PROTECTION

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information will be used solely to fulfil your booking and shared only with relevant suppliers where necessary.

For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
